Finchitua
Finchitua is an edgy, modern streetwear brand featuring designs inspired by tribal Ethiopia.
The label’s name derives from the Ethiopian word ‘finchit’ which means ‘the girl with a gap between her teeth’ – like the label itself, a ‘finchit’ is unique, distinctly African and considered a mark of beauty for the bearer.
For the Love of Bread
At For the Love of Bread, we believe this staple of daily life should be celebrated as a source of nutrition and energy. That’s why our bread is made the old way. From a time before industrial milling. When organic wheat was milled using traditional stones that preserved the nutrient dense bran and germ. When the only way to leaven bread was slowly, using a sourdough starter that was passed down through the generations.
Fish Farm
Headquartered in Dubai, Fish Farm has set up three facilities – a caged farming facility in Dibba, a hatchery in Umm al-Quwain and an inland farming facility in Jebel Ali.
Maison de Rose
Maison de Rose Bakery in Dubai serving delicious cakes and speciality desserts baked from scratch with fresh ingredients and inspired by these unique family gatherings.
RAK Ceramics
High quality plain dates (whole and pitted dates) of different varieties that range in size, color, texture and sweetness, including Khalas, Fard, Lulu, Khenaizi, Dabbas and Sheeshee.
Why Go-Lokal?
We should support our local market (local products & local brands) by empowering people within the UAE to do business with local companies and local entrepreneurs that are based and operate from within the UAE.
By connecting the local community we aspire to support the local economy, making its unique brands better known, and create awareness for authentic tour experiences. Go-Lokal gives you access to all hidden gems the UAE has to offer.

Lokal of the month
Mleiha
Mleiha, a UNESCO-nominated World Heritage Site in the Central Region of the Sharjah map, is home to a number of significant sites, including Bronze Age tombs and pre-Islamic forts. Fascinating artifacts and fossils were discovered here, including pottery, iron tools and camel skeletons. The Mleiha Archaeological Centre, which opened in 2016, houses these discoveries and even more artifacts that uncover ancient UAE history.
The centre also offers a range of tours and activities. You can explore the archaeological sites or venture into the sand dunes with a desert safari. Alternatively, you can also try other desert adventures like riding a quad bike or dune buggy over the sand. If you prefer to go on foot, consider trekking to Camel Rock for an expansive view of the desert. The surrounding area is a beautiful location for a desert camp on soft dunes and under glittering night stars.
