Celebrating two decades of presenting Indian Modern and Contemporary Art to the UAE, 1X1 Art Gallery founded by Malini Gulrajani in 1996, is now based in a 7500 sq. ft. warehouse space in Alserkal Avenue in Dubai.
As an important platform for both established and emerging artists, 1X1 supports its program through structured collaborations with local and international galleries, art fairs, and museums as well as with independent curators and art organisations.

Petite Lamb
Petite Lamb was established in 2010 by Katrina, the designer and seamstress behind the business. The passion for sewing and eye for design has brought together a collection of unique and one of a kind pieces that you will find both online, in store and out and about at pop up markets. Katrina started sewing at an early age taught by her mother and participated in her first market back in 1996 in St. Kilda, Melbourne selling hand painted silk pyjamas. The love for materials and sewing has always been a strong theme in Katrina’s life.

Rootz Organics is my humble attempt at creating awareness about organic products and sustainable living. We use high quality 100% rayon fabrics which are made from natural fibres making them durable, easy to care for, flattering to wear and very comfortable in hot weather – Rayon is a manufactured fibre made from natural sources such as wood pulp and has very thin fibres which allows it to breathe more than other fabrics giving it a lightness that prevents it from sticking to your body in hot weather
We hand select our fabrics for comfort, durability, quality and style.

Mleiha
Mleiha, a UNESCO-nominated World Heritage Site in the Central Region of the Sharjah map, is home to a number of significant sites, including Bronze Age tombs and pre-Islamic forts. Fascinating artifacts and fossils were discovered here, including pottery, iron tools and camel skeletons. The Mleiha Archaeological Centre, which opened in 2016, houses these discoveries and even more artifacts that uncover ancient UAE history.
The centre also offers a range of tours and activities. You can explore the archaeological sites or venture into the sand dunes with a desert safari. Alternatively, you can also try other desert adventures like riding a quad bike or dune buggy over the sand. If you prefer to go on foot, consider trekking to Camel Rock for an expansive view of the desert. The surrounding area is a beautiful location for a desert camp on soft dunes and under glittering night stars.
